At Hitachi Architects & Engineers, we have developed original workshops for architectural design projects. The workshops get to the heart of the project concept by envisioning real scenes that play out in the new space as if you were a copywriter or screenwriter creating a film.
VIP interview
Interviews with senior executives. Interviews are conducted with executives to clarify their thoughts and deepen their awareness of the project policy.
Vision Table
This method organizes the current customer situation and clarifies the project's position in the business, from management philosophy to specific business measures.
Imaginary Advertisements
Through the workshop, you will be asked to turn your project concept into a catchy phrase for various aspects of the project. Based on the keywords, a professional graphic designer and copywriter will create a poster ad as an internal promotional tool.
Personal Matrix
A method of setting up a detailed user image and envisioning actual communication scenes that will occur. Various scenes are important idea elements in the basic design process.
Thinking Forest
An organizing method for systematically constructing the essences of the workshops from (1) to (4).
We start by getting to know our users properly, design to solve their problems, evaluate them, and then make further improvements. Human-Centered Design is the process of taking these steps in turn. Many people are already practicing each of these methods, such as user observation, user modeling, design, and evaluation, and knowledge about each of these methods is expanding in the world. The process of successfully connecting these individual elements is Human-Centered Design. It is important to consider that Human-Centered Design is a "process". Rather than individual measures, companies introduce "processes" that improve things by focusing on users. You'd think that once you have a Human-Centered process in place, most people would do well. In order to achieve things like "better user experience" and "better usability," you can't just focus your efforts on the final design or creation of the thing. Rather, we believe that we can improve the user experience and usability by pursuing the processes leading up to the final product, and that activities that continuously and repeatedly execute these processes will ultimately become the value and assets of the company.
A professional who practices a user-centered approach to design that tends to be business-centered, designer-centered, or technology-centered.
ZEB (Zero Energy Building) is a term for the concept of reducing energy consumption at the operational stage of buildings, through energy saving and the use of renewable energy, and reducing it to zero wherever possible.
Source: Ministry of the Environment ZEB PORTAL
In order to realize the ZEB concept, we have divided the themes to be addressed into four categories, including facility operation and energy management, along with both energy saving and energy creation approaches. We will support the actualization of ZEB with designs that solve these issues.
Registration as a ZEB Planner
We have been registered as a ZEB Planner, as recruited by the Sustainable open Innovation Initiative. We will advance initiatives for the widespread adoption of ZEB, such as design, consulting and application document preparation for the realization of ZEB, and practical operational support for energy saving calculations.
*ZEB Planners are required to apply for ZEB subsidized projects (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry projects, Ministry of the Environment projects, etc.).
We receive phone calls from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays.
